DOUBLE ACT Ju-ett are Julie Lanning and Gavin Plucknett and the group name was formed as a result of small segments of their names - a duet with the perfect conundrum.

Julie and Gavin met through their own individual musical talents via charity shows on stage and theatre three years ago. During numerous rehearsals of their shows, they formed a friendship.

It was Gavins idea at the end of 2006 to talk to Julie about forming a boy/girl duet and after the first few rehearsals together their voices seemed to gel and a simpatico was quickly established.

Today, Ju-ett provide a varied musical ensemble from the Sixties right through to present day.

The most exciting aspect of Julie and Gavins work is the way they continually challenge themselves to develop their songs.

Getting to know them you quickly establish their enjoyment in playing and singing music is a natural gift and an evening hearing these two songsters together is a refreshing and perfect riposte.

Harmony is an art-form and these two extol its virtue quite beautifully.
