For 12 years Richard fronted “Chicory Tip” as they toured the world. Appearing on T.V. throughout Europe and playing at all of the major concert and theatre venues performing “Chicory Tip’s” chart hits “Son of my Father” “Good Grief Christina” and “What’s Your Name”. During those years of touring he worked alongside other 70’s bands such as Sweet, Steve Harley & Cockney Rebel, The Rubettes, The Hues Corporation, The Bay City Rollers, Mud, Black Lace, Vanity Fare, The Fourmost, Alvin Stardust, Marmalade, Freddie and the Dreamers, Middle of the Road and Christie.
